The SC/ST Students Cell addresses academic and non-academic issues and complaints received from students belonging to the SC and ST birth categories. The IMS strives to maintain an environment where all communities can participate in academic and research activities without any sort of discrimination with respect to caste.

The institute assures students that once a complaint is made, it will be treated with sensitivity and confidentiality.

On receipt of an online complaint, the institution shall refer the complaint to the appropriate Student Grievance Redressal Committee, along with its comments within 15 days of receipt of the complaint.
