The IMS Placement cell thrives and make it a point to train and develop students and make them ready to face interviews and aptitude tests . Also the placement cell has been successful in the placement of students in good companies and organizations . Students also get exposure in good companies through internships and industrial visits thus making them aware of the current ongoing scenario of the corporate working and culture.

Overview Of Placement Cell

The Placement Cell at IMSCDR, Ahmednagar was formed after the inception of IMSCDR . The Placement cell works to ensure that our students are well equipped to take up the challenges of the professional environment. The main objective of the Placement Cell is to bridge the gap between the stringent competition in the industry and talent available in the college. Not only does the Placement Cell offer training programs to students to develop various significant skills, but also facilitates the process of recruitment for all the eligible students.
The placement cell is successful in maintaining high placement statistics over the years and the fact that our students bear the recession blues with record-breaking placements itself is a testimony to their quality.

Objectives Of Placement Cell

Training and Placement Cell is to guide students to choose right career and to give knowledge, skill, and aptitude and meet the manpower requirements of the Industry.

Motive

To assist students to develop/clarify their academic and career interests, and their short and long-term goals through individual counseling and group sessions
Coordinating with companies to learn about their requirements and recruitment procedures
Organizing pre-placement training/workshops/seminars for students.

Pre-Placement Training

Summer Internship

As a part of the curriculum of MBA and MCA , students have to undergo practical work experience training in the company. The training program helps the students to build strong practical skills by implementing theoretical knowledge gained during academic programs of the curriculum. Students take up project work under the guidance of a faculty member of the batch. The university appoints external experts to evaluate the project work by conducting viva voce examination for the students.

Workshops/ Seminars/ Guest lectures for placement and training

The International HR meet was conducted by IMS to boost the relation between industry and campus.
Training and development sessions by GTT were conducted in 2020 to train and develop students and place them in multinational companies in Pune and Mumbai.
A training and placement workshop was conducted online by the VC SPPU and CEO’s of TCS,WIPRO,SYNTEL.
A financial training was conducted by Ultra fast financial services on the stock market .

Industry-Institute Collaboration

There is an industry interface committee for facilitating Industrial visit, internships and placements . The meeting of the members of the industry interface committee and members of IMS is held twice each year. Some of the members are
