Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.)
The Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) is the highest university degree that is conferred after a course of study by university. Candidates having a Master’s degree are eligible for admission into the doctoral program. IMS offers a research program in the Management field. All admissions for the Ph.D. program are based on the Entrance Test conducted by the Savitribai Phule Pune University. Candidates qualified in UGC-NET/JRF/SET are exempted from the Entrance Test for Ph.D. program. Candidates who have passed M. Phil. Programs of the SPPU are also exempt from the Entrance Test for Ph.D. program. We at IMS follow the rules and regulations revised by UGC/SPPU from time to time. IMSCDR is an approved Research Centre affiliated to S. P. Pune University under Faculty of Management.

The Ph.D. program provides rigorous industry-oriented training, research & development based on diverse management areas in order to provide a rewarding career in academics as well as the application of research findings in day to day industry problems. We at IMS have qualified and experienced supervisors well versed with the latest tools and techniques related to statistical analysis.
